Pranik and Chakra Healing

According to eastern metaphysical theories of Ayurveda, there are seven “Chakras” or integrated energy centers that are considered to be correlated with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Chakras, meaning wheels of light in Sanskrit, are energy centers within your energy body. There are seven chakras, each located around the nerve ganglia (bundles) of the spinal column. A Chakra can be visualized as a tornado or whirling vortex over a region of the body. This vortex can suck in or push outward. Each chakra transmits and receives life-force energy often called “chi”, “qi”, “prana”, or “universal intelligence".

Chakras reflect your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. When negative emotions embed themselves in your energy field, your chakras get blocked. You may get sick or feel out of balance. Chakra healing allows more energy in, helping to release the block. Initially, when the block is released, you might feel subtle energy shifts for a while. Your body must integrate the released energy that can now flow.

HOW CHAKRAS AFFECT US?

The chakras are constantly rotating and vibrating. Chakras and the energy therein affect our Body shape, Glandular processes, Chronic physical ailments, Thoughts, and Behavior.
When one (or more) of the chakras is blocked and the energy does not flow harmoniously through them, or it is wide open, it will result in imbalance that is manifested in all areas of life.
Each chakra is expressed on the physical body in one of the endocrine glands that regulate physical and emotional processes in the body. The imbalance in the chakra will also be expressed in the endocrine gland linked to it.
This is a gentle but effective form of treatment for numerous ailments, working on healing the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of our beings. Each Chakra is considered to resonate at a different frequency level. With new BioWell software, it is now possible to quantitatively estimate the energy of Chakras and graphically display their level of activation

The Seven chakras

The Crown Chakra also known as the Sahasrara
This is the 7th chakra and is located at the top of your head, its color is violet. It is associated with the cerebral cortex, central nervous system and the pituitary gland. This chakra is about information, understanding, acceptance and bliss. It is said to be your own place of connection to the universe, the Chakra of Divine purpose and personal destiny. Blockage can manifest as psychological problems and Application of sandalwood or lotus essential oils can activate this chakra.

The Third Eye also known as the Ajna
Its color is Indigo (a combination of red and blue). It is located at the center of your forehead at eye level or slightly above. This Chakra is used to question the spiritual nature of our life. It is the Chakra of question, perception and knowing. It is concerned with inner vision, intuition and wisdom. Your dreams for this life and recollections of other lifetimes are held in this Chakra. Blockage may manifest as problems like lack of foresight, mental rigidity, ‘selective’ memory and depression. Aligning techniques include application of clary sage and jasmine essential oils to activate the chakra. Mediation with the mantra Om can also help balance this chakra.

The Throat chakra or the Vishuddha
It’s colour is blue and is located within the throat. It is the Chakra of communication, creativity, self-expression and judgement. It is associated with your Neck, shoulders, arms, hands, thyroid and parathyroid glands. It is concerned with the senses of inner and outer hearing, the synthesizing of ideas, healing, transformation and purification. Blockage can show up as creative blocks, general problems in communicating ones needs to others. Blockage can show itself as immune system, lung and heart problems, or manifest as lack of compassion and messy relationships. Aligning techniques include application of rose, bergamot, or thyme essential oils before starting your day to activate this chakra and mediate to the mantra Yam.

The Solar Plexus or Manipura chakra
It’s color is yellow and is located a few inches above the navel in the solar plexus area. This chakra is concerned with your digestive system, muscles, pancreas and adrenals. There is already a large amount of science coming out of various places showing how human thoughts, emotions and intentions can actually affect and alter our physical material world, which includes our biology. These ‘places’ include the Institute of Noetic Sciences, or the Institute of HeartMath, just to name a few. A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a “mental” construction. Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine.

Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter. Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual.”  – R.C. Henry, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University,  “The Mental Universe”
